Popori

The small and cheerful guardians of the forest.

The History of the Popori

Popori is actually a general term for various intelligent races with different animal-like features that live in the Popori Kingdom. They are composed of the upper class matriarchal leaders, Eluren, as well as well as the Porian, Merunim, Uru and Perunim common class races with their distinctive animal-like looks. For several thousands of years the Popori have lived by the Lake of the Moon peacefully, developing a strong love for the harmony and the spontaneity of nature. They are known in Arborea as the most peaceful and stable lineage in existence. They became the first race to join the Balkion Alliance after a proposal from the humans. Often overlooked as a potential formidable enemy by the other races, the Popori have proudly sworn that they won't lose to their opponents, regardless of their small stature. Despite their looks, Popori are actually quite strong and very self-confident.

The Lake of the Moon

The Lake of the Moon is the origin of all the Popori races which is situated on the south-east side of the Arun Continent. This place is known as the holy resting place of the Popori's creator, Ely. The lake is surrounded by a mystical, beautiful and fantasy-like environment, engulfed in a forest thought to be the resting place of the Popori's guardian god, Selen. According to a local legend, the Lake of the Moon is a place where the magical powers of ancient gods live on today and is constantly protecting Pora Elinu, the capital of the Popori Kingdom.

Queen Rerin

Since the dawn of time the Popori civilization has been primarily ruled by the powerful female Eluren race. Queen Rerin is, among the average Popori, a beloved and almost legendary queen. Rerin stepped up during a crisis, the Teba Invasion. She led the Popori kingdom to victory and then formed a pact with the fairies that helped the Popori enter the most prosperous era of their civilization.

Unfortunately, at the end of the war with the Teba race, she tragically died. However the Popori to this day always speak of her with deep affection.igh

High Elves

Arrogant pioneers of civilization who hold supreme power.

The History of the High Elves

A thousand years ago, the Elves, who had built up a peaceful civilization over a considerable amount of time, found themselves losing the flower of life that their culture revolved around due to the aggression of other races and the war of the gods. Due to their moral laws, they were forced to watch the slow collapse of the civilization they had created over many long years. After witnessing their abject failure, the Elves sacrificed all of their existing values and traditions in order to gain superior power. Thus the High Elf race was born.

Now the High Elves have abandoned their ancestors and reject the gods that led to their previous civilization's demise. They only trust in their own physiques and mentality. By exceeding their limits a new destiny unfolded and at its peak they constructed the huge capital of Aluremancia and started the magic institution, Core. The High Elves are now known as the most powerful magical civilization in Arborea and are considered an advanced race.
