TERAblah.com management has heard your feedback and is dedicated to keeping the site updated and accessible for our members. As you may have already noticed, the front page (http://www.TERAblah.com) has recently been updated. Several things have been edited and some functionality has been improved. We have also added a secondary style to the forums for people who prefer darker colors.

Updated Theme

The main website theme has been updated so that things are easier to read, locate, and use. Changing the theme also made the page more compact so that more information could be brought to our members instantly.

Faster Search

We have improved the search function to immediately display related articles, news, announcements, or threads in a sleek overlay window. This should reduce the time it takes visitors to find the information they want.

Better Organization

We have improved the way that recent or popular articles are displayed on the front page. Visitors no longer need to scroll 10 times to reach the last article on the page. This also should reduce page load times on slower systems and mobile devices.

News Thumbnails

The news thumbnails have been increased in size and the viewer now contains the last 9 articles which is a 5 article increase over the previous 4. This, along with the new organization, should make finding important or relevant articles much easier.

Easier to Read

A major benefit to changing the over all theme is that visitors can now view text much easier. The white text on a dark background reduces strain on the eyes and allows for a more pleasant reading experience for TERAblah.com users.

Coming Soon

We intend on the layout staying like this for a fairly long time and will fix bugs/issues as they arise. Visitors should come to expect a familiar page layout for the foreseeable future.

We are also in the process of developing a video section so that users can upload, view, comment, and rate video content from TERA. Plans to implement a photo/image media section that will include fan art, screenshots, and event images for TERA are also in the works. Videos come first, however.

Please feel free to contact us with any issues you find and like always we value your input!
