Long time no see TERA fans! En Masse sent out their monthly TERA newsletter a few hours ago, and in case you didn't get it here's what it included:

• New media, specifically a Castanic music track, screenshots, and a link to TERA's E3 trailer (not on IGN, thank god).
• A quote from David Noonan about his normal day at En Masse. We hear a lot from this guy, it seems.
• Some quotes from websites talking about TERA's booth at E3. Whee...
• The announcement of who won the recent fanart contest. Double whee.
• A reminder that En Masse published some lore recently.
• A bestiary entry on the first boss mob you'll encounter on the Isle of Dawn (it's an angry tree).
• Some interesting tidbits about PvP, but not very much detail on how those tidbits actually work.
• And finally, a fresh wallpaper. The best part of the monthly newsletter. ;)

If TERA isn't a massive hit we can't blame En Masse for not trying. They're attempting to make contact with videogame niche groups of all types, most recently reaching out to the very quirky (and generally older) magazine-reading audience. Check your local bookstore's magazine rack for the July 2010 edition of PC Gamer magazine, which contains a short pre-E3 blurb about TERA! Here's a cropped, resized version if you live in a country that doesn't sell PC Gamer. This is not a full-page article, just a quarter-page preview, but it's still a good sign.

Look for more magazine articles and a ton of online previews/reviews during/after E3. En Masse has a bunch of videogame media folks lined up to test-drive TERA during the expo and you can be sure almost every single one of those guys will be impressed enough to write at least a paragraph or two about their experience. ;)
